On September 28th, Brunswick Square hosted their annual fall fashion show in support of Big Brothers/Big Sisters. MC’ed by Normand Hector (NWH Modelling) and Steph Downey (K100), this event showcased an impressive line-up representing the fall merchandise from the shops of Brunswick Square. Models strutted down the runway to remixed beats played by DJ Fire. Included in the cast of models were a number of Big Sisters and Big Brothers accompanied by their Littles.
Decor was provided and beautifully set up by Spurs (3rd level of Brunswick Square)- a dozen chandeliers hung from the ceiling and the space was accented by beautiful, rich floral displays.
Sold out to a crowd of 200 guests, the evening not only included a fashion show but also incorporated best dressed awards, multiple amazing prizes, dessert, drinks and hor d’oeurves! Last year had been a great show, but this year was even more impressive.
Looks for the runway included outerwear, casual wear, daytime business and evening dress. Hair was styled by Hairacy’s (3rd level) and make-up looks were created with Chanel products from Perfumes Plus (1st level). Below, check out an assortment of looks provided by 8 of the participating shops:

Of all the participants, the little models wearing adorable outfits from Paddington Station were definitely crowd favourites. Many of the adult looks garnered applause of approval and excited buzz from the crowd. Much applause was given to the Big Brothers and Sisters and their Littles that had their premier walk in a fashion show. It was great to have an excuse to dress up mid-week for a night out to support our favourite local stores while making a contribution to a worthy cause!
