The PlanSJ Storefront in Brunswick Square provides a high profile for the PlanSJ project and allows interested community members to drop in for regular updates on the progress of the City of Saint John's new Municipal Plan. The Storefront is open for drop-in on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with City staff available from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to answer questions and speak with visitors. The Storefront is also open for drop-in and staffed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of every month. The Storefront is the centre for information and feedback activities for PlanSJ, with powerpoint presentations, photos of the City, displays from the most recent consultation and research activities, a public computer with internet and a webcam to leave video comments for the PlanSJ team, community mapping and other interactive activities, as well as newsletters and workbooks/comment forms to take away. A meeting space for groups and presentations is also provided in the back of the Storefront, and is used to host meetings with the Citizen Advisory Committee and other groups.
